After freeing the city, Daenerys Targaryen has very few dull moments while trying to rule Mereen. Her advisors rarely agree with her gut instincts, and one of them is constantly trying to have a go at helping her make some more dragons. Actually, make that two of them, but it turns out one isn't as entirely trustworthy as she hoped. Dany's children, meanwhile, are causing all kinds of trouble - mostly that Drogon the Menace, who just won't stop bothering Old Master Wilson.
Oh, and Grey Worm, what's ... umm .... you know .... going on down... there?

When this doesn't pan out, it's time to fight for his life via proxy, and it's an incredible duel worthy of The Princess Bride ... except for the language and the blood and ... oh lord, someone has to clean that up!

Stannis Baratheon is what we might call "hard to read." Unlike his zealot wife, Selise, or his not-into-it daughter, Shireen, Stannis doesn't seem like the truest of believers, but if Melisandre and the Lord of Light can get him that throne, he's OK with almost anything... except harming his daughter (DON'T FORGET THAT). Davos gets an idea to take out a loan from the Iron Bank, but they don't have a branch in Dragonstone, so it's a long trip that *almost* leads to nothing.

Joffrey's wedding didn't much meet up with HIS expectations, but it ended on a high note for a lot of other people, especially Grandma Olenna. Jamie and Cersei are both devastated, though, and Jamie manages to work through his grief by doing something pretty appalling. Margaery puts forward her best effort on outmaneuvering Cersei, and it wouldn't be so bad if Tommen wasn't an innocent pre-teen who just loves his wittle-kitty-cat. This show is messed UP, but we sure do love it anyway!

Stannis Baratheon and Arya Stark - they don't meet, but their plotlines do as Melisandre ventures into Arya's world in order to meet Gendry...and then do nasty things to him. Arya is pretty pissed when her captors - The Brotherhood Without Banners - let Gendry go, but they didn't seem so bad overall. Arya disagrees and winds up getting herself into deep trouble yet again!

Somebody's getting married! No, not Edmure Tully. Not yet. Before that joyous occasion, we must first see short-but-fully-adult Tyrion marry the, uh, love of his life: A 14-year-old daughter of the family enemy. Shay isn't happy about the situation, but neither is ANYONE else. Except Joffrey. Joffrey is the happiest we've ever seen him, at least until Edmure Tully's lovely ceremony and reception.

Robb Stark simply cannot control his urges. First he had the urge to marry the wrong woman, and now he can't suppress his need to behead a dude at the absolute worst possible time. Edmure Tully also couldn't control his urges, and now he has to make up for everyone's screw-ups by marrying a Frey who...is probably hideous?
Meanwhile, Brienne and Jamie meet some seriously rough dudes that cause quite a bit of ... mayhem. We finally hear the true story of The Kingslayer, and most things seem to work out OK in the end, if you don't count all the grizzly bear wounds. Or the aforementioned "mayhem."
And then there's that Qyburn guy... he gives me the creeps!!
